Drive taxi is like exchanging Time for Money. There is a cap to how much we all can really make regardless wat colour taxi we drive.
For me its 10hrs straight otr with short breaks in between there after i will R n R...
As for joining LV, i think on average i only take 1 to 2 calls per day nia sometimes not even one!...lol not that i dont want but not my style to purposely wait for durian dropping when i know i can png somewhere in town...but overall even my call taking is low it does help in my driving smoothness
Now u are still new , anywhere also go .

Like what oldies always say , newbies always very lucky .
Somehow true some not true .
It's all in the head really .

Of course , if one driver ever drove a TransCab and ever drove a CDG taxi , plus even more like SMRT .
It's good experience .
Sonata83 also another one , ever drove 4 taxis as for now .
SMRT Crown , CDG Sonata , TransCab Wish and now SMRT Merc .
Dun tell him how good this how good that , he know all .
Like Ken Teo , his experience between different companies no horse run .
Now u ask him differences between SMRT , TransCab or CDG , he anytime can tell you .

since u prefer to drive day, apply a sonata as it is easy to find night shift driver.
CDG is strict, but u have good character, why worry. Most td gone through NS, Don't tell me u can't follow cdg simple regulation.
Wish u overcome this period of hardship.
Yeah , i recommend Sonata after Wish to me .
His atitude and discipline in Comfort , no problem .

Day shift can get that if clever enough . . . cos abundance of cheapos on the street waiting for taxis .
Night where got $30 an hour , digging your own grave .
Most time , $25 per hour or less , above $20 per hour very happy liao .
We oldies stuck on night shift , dunno what newbies thinking ?
If they think wow got 35% , everybody think like wise .

But knn la, I told one of the boss before, TU pay you monthly sub and GST, so that you guys can go holiday every years. You think all the taxi companies or LTA stupid, let you hold the license so long or purposely hide destination so that pax can call your radio station?
The day will come, treat the taxi stand as a working stand, not play politic, because if one day, a stupid scholar came in LTA, seat in CEO position and decided to do away taxi stand, than you will see who had the last laugh.
LTA cannot do anything . . .
They cannot revoke Lake View's license .
Cos we do not register with them .
We register as a Sole Proprietor Business .
Name of Proprietor can do any business .
They long time ago want to stop radio taxis , in the name of the law , they cannot do anything .
LTA want CDG to be King , that's all they want .
King of rubbish call centre yes .... quality calls pls refer to others .
Lake View boss pay taxes and paid yearly license fee to ACRA one .

Actually they just wanna get out from the 5 years , found some discrepencies and loop holes and explored from there .
The majority won , although through outside court settlements .
5 years sound short , when driving OMO , 5 years is a bloody long time .
Think hard about that .
My that LV member , was like some of you here , simple & naive , just got license , and pay $5k and just cannot get out of the mess after that .
5 years is not a joke .
Esp StriveOn , i dun see a need for you to do that .
As for your CNG issues , u just haven't get use to the rhythm of driving a CNG cab .
Pumping of CNG u must have routine , certainly not during peak hour , pls run on petrol , for under 100km on petrol , will not kill u , esp if your meter is running .
In fact , once a while your engine runs on petrol , it's a very re-conditioning for your engine .

Driving taxis , all along , i believe in simplicity .
In life , simplicity is a beauty , isn't it .
Well , i learnt that from Liverpool FC of the 80's and 90's .
Simple and effective football that time , now too technical .
